A NON-BELIEVER

Someone remarked that he didn’t believe in God, and that discussing it was illogical, but then he was asked if he thought he knew everything. It would be presumptuous to think anyone has all the answers or knows everything there is to know, but let’s say he knows half of everything there is to be known. Could it be possible that God is in the half he doesn’t know anything about? God has far greater things waiting for you than you have ever imagined, and this study guide is intended to take doubt out of your faith, and help those seeking Biblical truth. There is no more room for doubt once you have faith, and once you know the truth nothing else matters. The truth doesn’t change, so put the truth first.

PASCAL’S WAGER

PASCAL’S WAGER
1. If I choose to believe and God does exist = Salvation
2. If I choose to believe and God does not exist = no loss.
3. If I choose not to believe and God does not exist = still no loss.
4. If I choose not to believe and God does exist = I loose everything.
Therefore: Pascal reasoned it was in his best interest to believe in the possibility of the existence of God.

WAR IN HEAVEN

Lucifer was created perfect and chose to be evil. He conned 1/3 of the angels to agree that he should be equal to Jesus. Then Lucifer and those angels were cast out of heaven.
Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground which did weaken the nations!
Isaiah 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven , I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Revelations 12:7 - And there was war in heaven : Michael and his angels fought against the dragon ; and the dragon fought and his angels."
Revelations 12:8 - And prevailed not ; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Revelations 12:9 - And the great dragon was cast out that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deciveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

2 CHRONICLES 16:9 -- For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly : therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

CREATOR · (return to contents)

From the beginning even before creation week the foundation for our salvation was already planned. God knows the beginning from the end. Do we build on sand or the rock? Those who build on the sand are the ones who reject Christ. We can build on the rock of our foundation of which Jesus is the cornerstone, and his plan for our salvation is actually revealed in creation. The Sabbath is a memorial that God is our creator, and savior. The Sabbath is for the Seal of God. The Bible will prove these claims.

Jesus is our creator.

Two perfect institutions were set up by God Himself before sin ever came into the world and they are - marriage and the Sabbath, both of which were made for man, and both received the blessing of the Creator and both continue to be just as holy now as when they were sanctified in the Garden of Eden. And the Bible says to remember both. (The government can not make gay marriage holy and cannot make 1st day sabbath holy. God makes Holy what he chooses. And he curses who HE chooses). THE SABBATH TRUTH     REMEMBER LOT'S WIFE Blessed are the merciful.
John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”
John 1:2 “The same was in the beginning with God.”
John 1:3 “All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.”
Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
Note: ‘Us’ in this verse is referring to God the Father, God the Christ Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit. These are three aspects or personalities of the one God. This is able to be proven by comparing the choice of words used in Hebrew language for ‘us,’ and the Greek New Testament. God created everything that was created.
Genesis 2:2 “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.”
Genesis 2:3 “And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.”
Exodus 20:8-11-“Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant,, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”
Colossians 1:13 - “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son :”
Colossians 1:14 - “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”
Colossians 1:15 - “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:”
Colossians 1:16 - “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him :

Creation Day One: (Sunday)Day and Night were created. [Genesis 1:2- 5].
Creation Day Two: (Monday)Earth’s Atmosphere was created. [Genesis 1:6-8].
Creation Day Three: (Tuesday) Dry land & vegetation was created. [Genesis 1:9-13].
Creation Day Four: (Wednesday)Sun & Moon were created. [Genesis 1:14-19].
Creation Day Five: (Thursday) Birds and fish were created. [Genesis 1:20-23].
Creation Day Six: (Friday)Land animals and mankind were created.[Genesis 1:24-31].
Creation Day Seven: (Saturday)The Sabbath was made and blessed. [Genesis 2:2-3].

Note: Day one starts at sundown Saturday night (evening) and after morning passes it ends at sundown Sunday, and likewise the Sabbath starts sundown Friday (evening) and lasts until sundown Saturday.

Ephesians 2:20 - “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;”
Job 38:6 - “Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the cornerstone thereof;”
Psalms 118:22 - “The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.”
Psalms 144:12 - “That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth ; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace :”
Isaiah 28:16 - “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation : he that believeth shall not make haste.”
Luke 20:17 - “And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?” Mark 12:10 - “And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner :”
Matthew 21:42 - “Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner : this is the Lord‘s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes?”
Matthew 25:34 - “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:”
Genesis 2:9 “And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
Genesis 2:17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”
Acts 5:30 “ The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree."
Acts 10:39 “And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:”
Acts 10:40 “Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly;” (Jesus rested in the tomb during the Sabbath).
Mark 2:27 "And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:"

Note: (The Sabbath was MADE for all people not just Jews, as we are all descendents of Adam and Eve and they kept the Sabbath).
Revelations 22:14 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

Note: The commandments will be kept even in heaven, so to say they have been done away with is ludicrous.

Hebrews 1:10 -- “And, thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth ; and the heavens are the works of thine hands :”
I Timothy 3:15 - “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
I Corinthians 3:10- “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth there-upon.”
I Corinthians 3:11 - “For other foundation can no man lay than is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
Hebrews 4:3 - “For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest : although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”
Hebrews 4:4 - “For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.”
Revelations 13:8 - “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

Note: The Mark of the beast is about worship. Just as the religious leaders had Nebuchadnezzar pass a law that whomever would not bow to the false god would be killed, so will the churches use governments (kingdoms are beasts) to pass religious laws. Consider many of the people in the Bush administration have degrees, not from Stanford or Yale but from Pat Robertson’s University. The 4th commandment is the only commandment that starts with the word ‘remember’ yet most churches are in opposition to giving it any thought. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it HOLY. The 6th commandment is found in Exodus 20:13 and says, “Thou shalt not kill;” it is one of the ten commandments, so when someone says the ten commandments have been done away with, what do they think about murder being okay? Christ kept the seventh day sabbath, and he rested in the grave on the sabbath, and continued to keep the 7th day sabbath, and so did all of the apostles.
I John 3:4 - “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”

TWO WITNESSES

The Bible testifies of Jesus; both in the Old and New Testaments.
Revelation 11:3 - And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth.

Isaiah 12:2 - “Behold God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.”
John 5:39 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”
Mark 9:4 - “And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.”

(Elias here represents the prophets, and Moses represents the law.)

Prophecy is of the future and history is of the past. Biblical prophecies that were predicted centuries before they occurred, are now history and prove the Bible to be the accurate word of God. The Bible has never been wrong, although the interpretations of many people and even church leaders have been wrong. The Bible explains itself, and the few prophesies still waiting to occur can be better understood from a study of the Bible itself.

THE TWO WITNESSES ARE THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS AS THEY BOTH TESTIFY OF GOD.

A Doctrinal Catechism,” (Catholic) page 174, has the following question and answer:-
“Q.-Have you any other way of proving that the church has power to institute festivals of precept?”
“A.-Had she not such power… she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for Saturdays, the seventh day, a change for which there is no scriptural authority.”
IV
Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Exodus 13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth. “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.” Romans 3:31

I John 2:4 “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelations 22:14
“HE SHALL THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND THE LAW.” - Daniel 7:25
[The Sabbath is both a time and law.]

Genesis 2:2 - “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested the seventh day from all his work which he had made.”
Genesis 2:3 - “And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it : because that in it he had rested from all his works which God created and made.”
Revelations 22:14 - “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have a right to the tree of life, and to enter in through the gates of the city .”

Note: The Ten Commandments were kept in the Garden of Eden and will still be binding in heaven.
According to Romans 7:12, a New Testament verse, the Law is what? ___HOLY____
Romans 7:12 - “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just and good.”
Many people use the following verses out of context to claim it is okay to break the ten commandments, even though, “thou shalt not kill” is one of the ten commandments.
Matthew 5:17-19 --“Think not that I am come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven.”-- . [Least in the kingdom here means unsaved.]
Note: The law mentioned here included all that Moses and the prophets had written. He did not come to set aside any of it. And He fulfilled what the prophets had written of Him when He came as the Messiah, the Savior of the human race. To fulfil means to do, to perform, or to act in accordance with. Paul says, in: Galatians 6:2 -- “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
Christ’s act of being baptized was a fulfilling of righteousness. [It certainly did not put an end to righteousness]. Read: Matthew 3:15 -- “And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now; for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.”

Also : James 2:8 - “If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:.”
James 2:9 - “But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.”
James 2:10 - “For whomever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

Note: God’s great moral Decalogue is eternal; whereas, ritual law is only temporary. Read :
Ephesians 2:15 - “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of the commandments contained in ordinances ; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;”

Note: All typical laws have ended. In other words no lambs need to be sacrificed any longer since Christ died, and arose from the grave.
Note: The purpose of the Law is not to save, but to point out what sin is. It is not uncommon to hear a minister say the Law has been done away with, but that is not true. The purpose of the Ten Commandments is to tell us what sin is.

Romans 3:20 -- “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight : for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

I John 3:4 -- “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth the law : for sin is the transgression of the law.”

I Corinthians 15:56 -- “The sting of death is sin ; and the strength of sin is the law.”

Romans 6:23 -- “For the wages of sin is death ; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus christ our Lord.”

Romans 4:15 -- “Because the law worketh wrath : for where no law is, there is no transgression.”

Note: This is why we need a savior. If there was no longer a penalty for sin, we would not need a savior.

Psalms 19:7 - “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul : the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”

Romans 7:1 - “Know ye not, brethern, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?”

Romans 7:7 - “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin but by the law : for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.”

THE SEAL OF GOD ON HIS FOLLOWERS

Winds of strife held in check while God's followers sealed. Rev. 7:1-3

Universal situation over the whole earth denoted by 4 winds and by earth, sea and trees.

       Rev.7:1-3.

God's followers sealed in their foreheads denotes in their minds made final decisions to faithfully depend on Him and obey His will. Rev. 7:2,3.

144,000 or 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes of Isreal were sealed. Revelation 7:4.

In Hebrew numerology, multiples of seven and twelve denote completeness and perfection. This number is probably symbolic of those of God's followers in spiritual Isreal who in earth's last troublous times stand true to Him and live to the time of deliverance when Christ comes. See Revelation 14:1-5.

Besides the 144,000 a numberless multitude of saved people are seen. See Revelation 7:9-17.

God desires that His law be sealed among his followers. See Isaiah 8:16.

A seal includes 3 items: (1) The name of the official owner, (2) His title of office, and (3) His territory of jurisdiction such as Arnold Schwartznegger, Governor, State of California.

The 4th Commandment contains God's seal of authority in Exodus 20:8-11 as follows: (1) His name: "The Lord thy God," (2) His title: "creator" or "maker," (3) His territory:"heaven and earth."

His followers receive this seal by keeping the seventh day Sabbath as the commandment states, thus acknowledgeing that their God is Creator.

His obedeint saints, who keep all His commands and are faithful to Jesus to the end, and therefore have His seal, refuse to worship God's enemy, the beast.

They also will not receive the beast's mark or number and be destroyed by the fire which destroys those who do have the beast's mark. See Revelations 14:9-12.

THE BEAST AND HIS MARK.

The beast has 10 crowned horns, 7 heads with blasphemous titles on them, is like a leopard with a bear-like feet and a lion-like mouth. Rev. 13:1,2

This composite power is symbolic of an earthly kingdom (represented by term :beast").

It has characteristics of the lion of Babylon, the bear of Medo-Persia, the leopard of Grecia, and the terrible beast of Rome described in Daniel 7:1-7.

It has the ten horns of the 10 divisions of the Roman empire of Dan. 7:23,13.

It receives its power from the 7-headed dragon of Rev. 12:3-17 that represents Satan and athe Roman Empire trhrough which he worked to try to destroy Christ and His followers.

Like the dragon it too has seven heads.

The beast is obviously papal Rome which alone fulfills all the earmarks listed as follows and recorded in Revelation:

(1) It arose after the 10 kingdoms of divided Rome were established in 476 A.D. The papacy had full political power by 538 A. D. Rev. 13:1

(2) It received worship as a religious power. Rev. 13:4.

(3) It received power from the dragon (pagan Rome). Rev. 13:2,4.

(4) It spoke words and blasphemies against God, . Rev. 13:5,6. Luke 5:20,21 and John 10:33. This power claims God's place and right to forgive sins.

(5) It had power over the developed earth and persecuted God's followers. Rev. 13:7.

(6) It had dominate power for 42 months or 1260 years. Rev. 13:5 With a day in prophecy symbolizing a year this fits the period of political supremacy from 538 A.D. to 1798 A.D. when Berthier's armies took the political for a time.

(7) It received a deadly wound. Rev.13:3 In 1798 from France.

(8) Its deadly wound was healed. Rev.13:3 In 1929 when Cardinal Gasparri and Mussolini's government signed a treaty restoring its political independence.

(9) It will for a short time have world wide dominion and be worshipped by all the earth except those who belong to the Lamb of God. Rev. 13:7,8.

(10) It will again imprison and kill but God's saints will faithfully endure it. Rev. 13:9,10.

(11) Its worship and mark will be enforced by another beast upon all peoples. Rev. 13:11-16.

(12) Its mark involving its name or number will be needed to buy or sell. Rev.13:16,17.

(13) Its number is 666, the number of a man. Rev.13:18. In Hebrew numerology multiples of six represents the forces of evil in opposition to God's plan. The titles of some of the pagan authorities by numerical equivalencies equal 666. The Latin title, "Vicarius Filii Dei" inscribed on the pope's coronation crown, in its primary Roman numerical equivalencies adds up to 666.

When the beast again has world-wide authority and its mark is enforced by laws as depicated in 'Rev. 13:14-16, then people will receive its mark.

The mark in the forehead represents believing in the beast's authority and decrees while the mark in the hand represents going along with the beast's decrees. Rev. 14:9.

Those accepting the beast's mark and therefore rejecting God's authority will be destroyed in the fire which destroys Satan and his followers. Rev. 14:9-11 and Rev. 20:7-10,14.

The mark of the beast represents the decision to obey the beast's laws that are in conflict with God's command's. The papacy claims that its change of the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday and the world's acceptance of this change is its mark of power and religious autority. See catholic Record, September 1, 1923 and statement of Cardinal Gibbons via Chancellor H.F. Thomas. After urging the global observance of Sunday in his statement quoted in the January, 1962 issue of The Signs of the Times Pope John XXIII said "This presupposes a change of mind in society and the intervention of the powers of the state. Then Sunday will really be the day of God."

The image of the beast established by the two-hrned beast of Rev. 13:11 will be another combination of church-state power supported by Protestantism in its apostate form to get the world to worship the beast and support its decrees and receive its mark. Rev. 13:12-16."

Miraculous signs will be performed to deceive earth's inhabitants into supporting this union of church-state interests."

Those rejecting the beast and its image, mark, name, and number, will paatiently and faithfully endure and have their names in the Lamb's book of life. Rev. 13:10; 14:12. Rev. 20:15, Rev. 3:5."

These faithful ones obey God's commandments and keep the faith of Jesus. Rev. 14:12."

THE BEAST POWER In Revelation 13:1-10, 15-18, God gives 10 clues to help us identify the beast. He gives us a long list of characteristics so that we can be absolutely certain of the beast's identity.

Point 1 -
Rises up out of the sea (verse 1)
Revelation 13:1 “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”
Revelation 17:15 -- "And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are __PEOPLES___, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

It "came up among" the 10 kingdoms of Western Europe. The geographical location of the papal power was in Rome, Italy--the very heart of the territory of Western Europe.

THE TEN HORNS of Daniel 7
1. Visigoths --Spain
2. Anglo-Saxons --England
3. Franks --France
4. Alemani --Germany
5. Burgundians --Switzerland
6. Lombards --Italy
7. Suevi --Portugal
8. Heruli --Rooted up (493 A.D. Heruli defeated).
9. Vandals --Rooted up (534 A.D. Vandals defeated).
10. Ostrogoths --Rooted up -(538 A.D. Ostrogoths defeated)
538 A.D. Europe No Longer dominated by Arian Knights.

Note: The Papacy was a world power for over 1,000 years. It began in 538 A.D. as the World Power and continued until 1798 A.D. This time period in which the Vatican was a World Power is known as the DARK AGE.

Point 2 - Receives its power, seat, and authority from the dragon (verse 2)

Revelations 13:2 - “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” According to Revelation 12:3-5, the dragon is the power that sought to destroy the child Jesus at the time of His birth. It was Satan who inspired Herod, a king for the pagan Roman empire, to slay all the male babies in Bethlehem (Matthew 2:13, 16). To whom did pagan Rome give her authority and capital city? History is clear that pagan Rome turned over its power and capital city to the church of Rome. The following historical quote is typical: "The Roman church ... pushed itself into the place of the Roman World-Empire, of which it is the actual continuation. ... The Pope, who calls himself 'King' and 'Pontifex Maximus,' is Caesar's successor."-Adolph Harnack, What Is Christianity? (New York: Putnam, second edition, revised, 1901), p. 270.

It would emerge from the fourth kingdom of iron--the pagan Roman Empire. "Whatever Roman elements the barbarians and Arians left ... [came] under the protection of the Bishop of Rome, who was the chief person there after the emperor's disappearance. The Roman Church in this way privily pushed itself into the place of the Roman World- Empire, of which it is the actual continuation." - Adolf Harnack, What is Christianity? (New York: Putnam, second edition, revised, 1901), pp. 269, 270. So, point 2 fits the papacy, as well.

Point 3 - Becomes a worldwide power (verses 3, 7)

Revelation 13:3- “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
Revelation 13:7 - “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds and tongues and nations.”

How far-reaching is the influence of the beast?

Revelation 13:3 . And all the __WORLD__ wondered after the beast.

Note: No one would question that during the Middle Ages, the papacy was indeed a worldwide power. In fact, the word "catholic" means "universal." We can see that Point 3 also fits the papacy.

Point 4 - Is guilty of blasphemy (verses 1, 5, 6)
Revelation 13:1 “And stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”
Revelation 13:5- “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”
Revelation 13:6- “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.”

What comes out of the mouth of the beast?
Revelation 13:6 . And he opened his mouth in ___BLASPHEMY_____ against God, to blaspheme his name.

Note: The Bible defines blasphemy as man claiming to forgive sins (Luke 5:21) and claiming to be God (John 10:33).
Does this point fit the papacy? Yes! Let's first look at the evidence for it claiming to forgive sins: The papacy boldly claims the power to forgive sins. Notice the following section from a Catholic catechism: "Does the Priest truly forgive the sins, or does he only declare that they are remitted? The Priest does really and truly forgive the sins in virtue of the power given to him by Christ."

  • Joseph Deharbe, S.J., A Complete Catechism of the Catholic Religion (New York: Schwartz, Kirwin & Fauss, 1924), p. 279.

Here is another startling statement about the pope: "Thou art another God on earth."3

  • The papacy further undermines Jesus by setting up a system of confession to an earthly priest, thus bypassing Jesus, our High Priest (Hebrews 3:1; 8:1, 2) and only Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). The papacy also claims that the pope is equal with God. Pope Leo XIII said, "We [the popes] hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty."2

  • Christopher Marcellus, Oration in the Fifth Lateran Council, Session IV (1512), manuscript SC, Vol. 32, col. 761 (Latin). It would speak "great words" of blasphemy "against the most High [God]." Blasphemy has two definitions in Scripture: 1. Claiming to forgive sins (Luke 5:21). 2. Claiming to be God (John 10:33). Next consider the evidence for it claiming to be God: "We [the popes] hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty."
  • Pope Leo XIII, Encyclical Letter "The Reunion of Christendom" (dated June 20, 1894) trans. in the Great Encyclical Letters of Pope Leo XIII (New York: Benziger, 1903), p. 304. Here is another: "The pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ, Himself, hidden under the veil of flesh."

  • Catholic National, July 1895.

It’s obvious this point, likewise, fits the papacy.

So Point 4 also fits the papacy.

    Point 5 -
Rules for 42 prophetic months (verse 5)
Revelation 13:5- “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”

How long would this first beast rule? Revelation 13:5 . And power was given unto him to continue __FORTY__ and __TWO__ months.

Note: Remember that in prophecy, one prophetic day equals one literal year (Ezekiel 4:6). This time period is repeatedly referred to in prophecy as three and a half years, 42 months, or 1,260 days. Based on the 30-day calendar used by the Jews, all three time periods total the same 1,260 prophetic days, or 1,260 literal years. The worldwide power of papal Rome became official in A.D. 538, when Emperor Justinian's decree making the papacy supreme was no longer opposed. The papacy was dealt what appeared to be a death blow in 1798 when the pope was captured by Napoleon's general, Alexander Berthier. You will notice that the time period between A.D. 538 and 1798 is precisely 1,260 years. Point 5 also fits the papacy.

Papacy rules for -42 months, 1260 prophetic days, and 3 ½ years are all the same thing. Note: In Bible prophecies a prophetic day can equal a literal year in real time. See Ezekiel 4:6; Numbers 14:34

[Starting 538 A.D. to 1798 A.D.] 538 A.D. Ostrogoths were defeated (538 A.D. Europe No Longer dominated by Arian Knights). The Papacy was a world power for over 1,000 years. No other kingdom on the earth has done this.

Note: Revelations 13:12 -16 Is speaking about the United States. Daniel 7:25 - “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given unto his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”

Note: God's people (the saints) would "be given into his hand" for "a time and times and the dividing of time."

Several things need clarification in connection with this point:
  • 1. A time is a year, times is two years, and the dividing of time is a half-year. The Amplified Bible translates it: "Three and one-half years."
[The Amplified Bible, Zondervan Publishing House, Grand Rapids, Michigan 1962. ]
  • 2. This same time period is mentioned seven times (Daniel 7:25; 12:7; Revelation 11:2, 3; 12:6, 14; 13:5) in the books of Daniel and Revelation: three times as a time, times, and half a time; twice as 42 months; and twice as 1,260 days. Based on the 30-day calendar used by the Jews, these time periods are all the same amount of time: 3 1/2 years = 42 months = 1,260 days.
  • 3. One prophetic day equals one literal year (Ezekiel 4:6; Numbers 14:34).
  • 4. Thus, the little horn (Antichrist) was to have power over the saints for 1,260 prophetic days or 1,260 literal years.
  • 5. The rule of the papacy began in A.D. 538, when the last of the three opposing Arian kingdoms was uprooted. Its rule continued until 1798 when Napoleon's general, Berthier, took the pope captive with hopes of destroying both Pope Pius VI and the political, secular power of the papacy. This period of time is an exact fulfillment of the 1,260-year prophecy. The blow was a deadly wound for the papacy, but that wound began to heal and continues healing today.
  • 6. This same period of persecution is mentioned in Matthew 24:21 as the worst period of persecution God's people will ever experience. Verse 22 tells us it was so devastating that not one soul would have survived if God had not shortened it. But God did shorten it. The persecution ended long before the pope was taken captive in 1798. It is plain to see that this point, likewise, fits the papacy.

Point 6 - Receives a deadly wound that heals (verse 3)
Revelation 13:3 - “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”

What happened to the beast after the 42 months? Revelation 13:3 . And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly ___WOUND___ was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Note: As already mentioned, the papacy received what appeared to be a deadly wound in 1798 when General Berthier took the pope captive to France, where he died in exile.1 Half of Europe thought that this event signaled the end of the papacy, but God had said that the wound would be healed and that the papacy's power and influence would be restored until the entire world would follow her leading. Malachi Martin, consummate Vatican insider, reveals the following in his book The Keys of This Blood: "The pope is the best-known person of the 20th century (p. 123), has formed personal relationships with the leaders of 91 countries (p. 490), and is prepared for worldwide rule now" (p. 143).2 Even a novice would recognize that today the papacy is, in many ways, the most influential power on earth. And with each trip the pope makes, his power and influence grow. Multiplied millions worldwide look to the papacy as the only hope for world unity, peace, and decency--precisely as God predicted. The papacy clearly fits Point 6. 1Joseph Rickaby, "The Modern Papacy," Lectures on the History of Religion, (London: Catholic Truth Society, 1910), Vol. 3, Lecture 24, p. 1. 2Malachi Martin, The Keys of This Blood (New York: Simon & Schuster, 1990).

Point 7 - Is a religious power that receives worship (verses 4, 8)

Revelation 13:4- “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power to the beast: and they worshipped the beast saying Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

Revelation 13:8 - “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

Is the beast a religious power?
Revelation 13:15 And cause that as many as would not __WORSHIP_____ the image of the beast should be killed.

Note: It is obvious that this entity would be involved in spiritual matters. The words "worship" or "worshiped" are used five times in Revelation 13 in reference to this power. surely no one doubts that the papacy fits Point 7.

    Point 8 - Persecutes God's saints (verse 7)
Revelation 13:7 - “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
That the church did persecute is a well-known fact. The papacy clearly admits doing so. Much supportive evidence exists. Even conservative historians claim the church probably destroyed at least 50 million people over matters of religious conviction. We will quote here from two sources:

  • What does the beast do to the saints?
Revelation 13:7 . And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to _____OVERCOME____ them.

Note: It is common knowledge that the papacy did persecute and destroy conscientious Christians, especially during the Middle Ages, the peak period of its control. Many historians say that more than 50 million people died for their faith during this period of great tribulation. Apparently the church felt it was doing God a favor by stamping out "heresy." The pope has asked that the church be forgiven for its atrocities, but the fact remains that it did persecute and destroy. The papacy fits Point 8 also.

It would make war with and persecute the saints. That the church did persecute is a well-known fact. The papacy clearly admits doing so. Much supportive evidence exists. Even conservative historians claim the church probably destroyed at least 50 million people over matters of religious conviction. We will quote here from two sources: 1. "That the Church of Rome has shed more innocent blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind, will be questioned by no Protestant who has a competent knowledge of history. 2. In The History of the Inquisition of Spain, D. Ivan Antonio Llorente provides these figures from the Spanish Inquisition alone:

  • 31,912 persons were condemned and perished in the flames.
  • 241,450 persons were condemned to severe penalties.

Point 9 - Has the mysterious number 666 (verse 18)
Revelation 13:18- “Here is Wisdom. Let him that have understanding count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Note: In Revelation 13:18, God says to count the number of the beast's name and that it is the number of a man. When we think of the papacy, the man we naturally think of is the pope. What is his name? One of the pope's official titles is "Vicar of the Son of God," which is "Vicarius Filii Dei" in Latin (the official language of the church). Newspaper articles, when referring to the pope as "Vicar of Christ," will often enclose the words in quotation marks to show that they are a translation of his title, or name. The book of Revelation is saying that the Roman numeral value of the letters of his name will equal 666. Let's see whether or not Point 9 fits the papacy:
That name is in the Pope’s crown:
    VICARIUS FILII DEI.
    V= 5       F= 0       D= 500       112
    I= 1       I= 1       E= 0       53
    C= 100       L= 50       I= 1       501
    A= 0       I= 1         501       666
    R= 0       I= 1
    I= 1           53
    V or U= 5
    S= 0
    112

    Point 10-

Is led by one supreme man (verse 18)
It would have a man at its head who speaks for it. The papacy meets this identifying mark because it does have one man at the head (the pope) who speaks for it.

    THE MARK OF THE BEAST
Revelations 13:2 - “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
Revelation 13:15 - “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”
Rev 14: 9 “And a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or his hand,”
Rev 14: 10 “The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:”
Rev 14: 11 “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth his mark of his name.”

    1. "That the Church of Rome has shed more innocent blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind, will be questioned by no Protestant who has a competent knowledge of history. 1 1 W. E. H. Lecky, History of the Rise and Influence of the Spirit of Rationalism in Europe, Volume 2, p. 40.

We are quoting two authorities on this point: 1. "The mighty Catholic Church was little more than the Roman Empire baptised ... The very capital of the old Roman Empire became the capital of the Christian empire. The office of Pontifex Maximus was continued in that of the pope." 2 2- 2 Alexander Clarence Flick, The Rise of the Medieval Church, pp. 148, 149.

    2. "Whatever Roman elements the barbarians and Arians left ... [came] under the protection of the Bishop of Rome, who was the chief person there after the emperor's disappearance. The Roman Church in this way privily pushed itself into the place of the Roman World- Empire, of which it is the actual continuation." 3 Adolf Harnack, What is Christianity? (New York: Putnam, second edition, revised, 1901), pp. 269, 270.

A time is a year, times is two years, and the dividing of time is a half-year. The Amplified Bible translates it: "Three and one-half years." 4
4 The Amplified Bible, Zondervan Publishing House, Grand Rapids, Michigan 1962.

In its catechisms, the papacy has omitted the second commandment against veneration of images and has shortened the fourth commandment from 94 words to eight and divided the tenth commandment into two commandments. (Check this for yourself. Compare the Ten Commandments in any Catholic catechism with God's list of the commandments in Exodus 20:3 -17.) There is no doubt that the little horn power of Daniel chapter 7 (the Antichrist) is the papacy. No other organization could possibly fit these nine points. And incidentally, this is no new teaching. Every Reformer, without exception, spoke of the papacy as Antichrist. 8

    8 R. Allen Anderson, Unfolding the Revelation, p. 137.

HOW TO AVOID THE MARK OF THE BEAST
Revelation 14:12 - “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

    [The Passover]
Before Christ died on the cross a yearly celebration known as Passover would occur. During this time the blood of a lamb was sprinkled on the entry way of a home and would protect the inhabitants, whereas the enemies of God’s believers would have death of their first born.
Exodus 12:7 - “And they shall take the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door posts of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.”
Exodus 12:8 - “And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread ; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.”
Exodus 12:9 - “Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire ; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.”
Exodus 12:10 - “And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning ; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.”
Exodus 12:11 - “And thus shall ye eat it ; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and the staff in your hand ; and ye shall eat of it in haste : it is the Lord‘s Passover.”
Exodus 12:12 - “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and I will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast ; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgement : I am the LORD.”
Exodus 12:13 - “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are.”

Leviticus 23:5 “In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord’s Passover.”
Leviticus 23:6 “And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread.”
Luke 22:7 “Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the Passover must be killed.”

John 10:10 -"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
Genesis 3:4 -"And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die."
Rev 22:14 - Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 - For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

    DRUGS
Drug problems are not only a serious people problem there is more behind the problem.

Galatians 5:19 -- Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
    Galatians 5:20 -- Idolatry,witchcraft,hatred,variance,emulations,wrath,strife,seditions,heresies,

Note: Sorcery and witchcraft in the Greek text are from the root word pharmakia the same word that we get pharmacopia and pharmacy from. It was used in conjunction with witchcraft and sorcery due to illicit mind altering drugs used in occult practices.

Galatians 5:21 -- Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in the past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Acts 8:9 -- But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

    PRAYER

    PRAYER

Mark 14:38 - “Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit is truly ready but the flesh is weak.”

John 15:14 -- “If ye shall ask anything, in my name, I will do it.”

    THE GIFT OF TONGUES
    I. Tongues is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. I Corinthians 12:7-10
    A. The Holy Spirit gives the gifts as He chooses. I Corinthians 12:11
    1. We are not free to choose our gift. We must simply ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and await His decision.
    II. Tongues at Pentecost.
    A. The ability to speak languages, not previously known, of other nations. Acts 2:1 -11.
    B. The purpose was to communicate the Gospel.
    1. On the day of Pentecost there were people present in Jerusalem from more than 12 different nations. But they all heard the Gospel in their own tongue.    Acts 2:8.
    2. Thus the Gospel was spread much more rapidly than if the disciples would have had to study to learn all these languages.
III. Other tongues experiences in Acts.
    A. Acts 10:44-46
    1. Peter at the home of Cornelius. The Holy Spirit fell on these Gentiles who believed in God.
    2. They spoke with tongues and magnified God. Acts 10:46
    3. This was the same manifestation of the Holy Spirit that fell on the disciples on the day of Pentecost. Acts 10:47
    a. “…which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we.”
    B. Acts 11:15
    1. In Peter’s defense of his actions with the Gentiles to the leaders in Jerusalem, he made it clear that the experience at Cornelius’ house was the same “as on us at the beginning.”
    C. Acts 19:1-6
    1. Here were some believers who hadn’t heard about Jesus Christ and His representative, the Holy Spirit. Acts 19:2
    2. They had been baptized unto repentance by John the Baptist. Acts 19:3
    3. After being taught of Christ, they were baptized and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 19:5,6
    4. “They spoke with tongues, and prophesied.”
    5. There is no evidence here that this experience was different from the Pentecost experience.
    D. All experiences of tongues in the book of Acts were the gift of the ability to speak a language not previously learned.
    IV. Corinthian Tongues.
    A. A person speaking to others must have a message to convey that they can understand. I Corinthians 14:1-9
    1. Those speaking in a language others cannot understand are speaking “into the air”. I Corinthians 14:1-9
    B. It is better to speak 5 words that can be understood than 10,000 that can’t. I Corinthians 14:19
    C. Instructions for the use of tongues. I Corinthians 14:27,28
    1. Two, or three people at most.
    2. One at a time.
    3. Only if someone interprets.
    4. If there is no interpreter:
    a. Keep quiet in the church. I Corinthians 14:28
    D. Any practice contrary to these instructions is not Biblical and not of God.
    V. In conclusion:
    A. Tongues are a sign, to reach the non-believer. I Corinthians 14:22
    B. Do not forbid tongues. I Corinthians 14:39
    C. “Let all things be done decently and in order.” I Corinthians 14:40
    D. Let us each seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
(Come out of Babylon, and into the truth of His word. Babbling is a confusion and a curse. The devil counterfeits Jesus Christ.)

    POSITIVE THINKING

Snake - Seduces Eve - in her thoughts and then Cain is born though Adam is his father. Cain is evil like Satan. ( This is known as a concept of the seed idea. Paradoxically, Satan counterfeits Jesus.) Jesus is the good seed.
Matthew 13:27 -"So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?"
Matthew 13:28 -"He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?"
Cain worships his own way = Satan’s way. (See Genesis 4).
Abel worships God’s way = the true way = the only way God can be worshipped. (See Genesis 4).

Hebrew 11:4- "By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrafice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh."

The Anti Christ has done a spin on people’s beliefs.

2 John :7 - "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti-christ."

II Corinthians 11:14 -- "And no marvel ; for Satan himself is transformed to an angel of light."
II Corinthians 11:15 -- "Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as ministers of righteousness ; whose end shall be according to their works."

Satan wants us to hate God, and blame all bad on the creator. (Jesus says if we love him to keep his Commandments).

Satan pretends to be God. Satan, will continue doing that through religion. Seek truth of Jesus Christ rather than religion. Religions bring war and Jesus brings salvation.

A Fiery Snake on a pole to heal those bitten by the snakes.
Numbers 21:6 - "And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Isreal died."
Numbers 21:7 - "Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people."
Numbers 21:8 - "And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole : and it shall come to pass, that everyone that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live."
Numbers 21:9 - "And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived."
John 3:14 - "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:."
John 3:15 - "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:17 - "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world ; but that the world through him might be saved."
John 3:18 - "He that believeth on him is not condemned : but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
John 3:19 - "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

Proverbs 16:7 - “When a man‘s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

Proverbs 23:7 -- For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Galatians 6:3 -- For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

JOKE --> He who thinks himself wise is a fool. - Confucius
If "He who thinks himself wise is a fool," then if someone thinks himself stupid would that make himself a genius?"

Matthew 13:39 -- "The enemy that sowed them is the devil ; the harvest is the end of the world ; and the reapers are the angels."
Matthew 13:40 -- "And therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire ; so shall it be in the end of this world."

Often when people don't understand something they lable it as being of the devil. If someone doesn't understand something that doesn't necessarily mean that it is of the Devil. Judge not that ye be judged not. Remember, it was the (Catholic) church that tortured thousands of true Christians as heretics. Galileo was accused of crimes for the use of a telescope and discussing the fact that the world is round.

Note: Whatever you do, don’t think about elephants eating peanuts, and that is what you will think about.
Proverbs 28:26 - "He who trusteth his own heart is a fool : but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered."

    FAITH

    DRAGONS · (return to contents)

Dinosaurs were not extinct during the writing of much of the Old Testament as has been wrongly taught, and dragons are in the stories of every culture. There is an insect known as the Bombardier Beetle of Central America that can make fire with its body, so such a feat as a fire breathing dragon is not that far fetched or impossible.

JOB 40:16 -- Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

    QUIZ

    1. I John 2:4 -- “He that saith I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Q. In John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” What does Jesus say to do if you love him? A. ____keep my commandments__.
    2. Q. From Revelations 22:14 “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” What do we know about the standards of God’s people in heaven? A. ______They are blessed and keep his commandments____.
    3. Q. According to the following verses why are works important to the saved? John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever beleiveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” It says we must believe to be saved. How do you know you believe? James 2:20 - “ But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead.” A. _______Works are important not to save us but because we have faith that we believe in saving power of grace through the blood of Christ, we want to do what God wants______. Read the following also: Matt 6:30 - “Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and to marrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” Matthew 9:22 - “But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort ; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.” Matthew 17:20 - “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief : for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Luke 7:50 - “And he said to the woman, Thy faith have saved thee ; go in peace.” Luke 17:6 - “And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of a mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by thy root, and be thou planted in the sea ; and it should obey you.” James 2:17 - “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. James 2:18 - “Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works ; shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” James 2:19 - “Thou believest that there is one God, thou doest well : the devils also believe, and tremble. James 2:20 - “ But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”
    4. Revelation 13:7 - “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Revelations 13:8 - “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Q. According to Revelation 13:7 Who gets the mark of the beast? A. ____________ The Lost ______________________.
    5. Revelation 13:17 . No man might _buy___ or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Note: No person has the mark now. When it becomes a forced issue, only those who have received the mark of the beast will be able to buy or sell. At that time, people who keep God's holy Sabbath will do so at the risk of their lives (Revelation 13:15), and those who choose to profane His holy day and officially cast their votes by placing the laws of men above the Law of God will be marked as belonging to Antichrist. All who are loyal to Jesus and His holy day will receive Jesus' glorious seal, thus making them His forever. Those who try to remain neutral will be counted for Antichrist (Matthew 12:30). Acts 5:29 . Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men . Choosing to obey the laws of the papacy (Sunday) rather than the laws of God (Sabbath) will leave you with the mark of beast.
Note: What is its mark of power and authority of the first beast of Revelation 13? We discover its mark of authority according to the papacy is itself is contained in the following section from a Catholic catechism: "Q. Which is the Sabbath day? "A. Saturday is the Sabbath day. "Q. Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? "A. We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday."1 Here is another statement from a catechism: "Q. Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept? "A. Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her--she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority."2 So the papacy is saying that its mark of power and authority is making Sunday a holy day- -a change that virtually the entire Christian world accepts. (See supplement entitled "What Important Question Does the Papacy Ask Protestants?") 1Peter Geiermann, The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (St. Louis: B. Herder Book Co., 1957 edition), p 50. 2Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism (New York: P.J. Kenedy & Sons, third American edition, revised, n.d.), p. 174.
    6. Rev. 14:12 - “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.” According to the Seventh Chapter of Revelations, the seal of God, is important. Rev 7:1- “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.” Rev 7:2- “And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea.” Rev 7:3- “Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Rev 7:4- “And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of Israel.” Rev 7:13- “And one of the elders answered saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?” Rev 7:14- “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said unto me, These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Ephesians 1:13 - “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise,” is the holy Spirit. The Fourth Commandment contains the seal of God, and it is a sign that we belong to God. Q. Do you see that worshipping in spirit and truth, would mean keeping the true sabbath that has God’s holy blessing for sealing of the saints? A. Yes [] No [] . Explain:_______________________________________________.
    7. THE SEVEN LAST PLAGUES Q. Who avoids the seven last plagues? Revelations 15:2 -- “And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire : and them that had gotten victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass having the harps of God.” Revelations 16:1 -- “And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.” A. __________those with victory over the beast________________________.
    8. GOD’S TRUE SABBATH Q. According to Exodus 20:8-11 -Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Which day of the week does God want us to keep holy? A. The seventh day is the Sabbath . (The seventh day is Saturday). Happy are they that keep it.
    9. What two objects did Daniel say the king saw in his dream? Daniel 2:31 . Thou, O king, sawest, and behold, a great image. Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest ... that a stone was cut out without hands. Note: The first thing the king saw was a great image made of the following mineral elements: 1. The head was of gold. 2. The breast and arms were of silver. 3. The belly and thighs were of brass. 4. The legs were of iron. 5. The feet of iron and clay. Next, the king saw a stone that had been cut without hands. At this point, King Nebuchadnezzar was no doubt sitting spellbound on the edge of his throne. Daniel had related the dream precisely as God had given it to him. Now the king eagerly waited, wondering what the dream meant. Daniel proceeded to explain the interpretation as the Lord had revealed it to him, and we would do well to take it just as He gave it. The only safe way to interpret the Bible and prophecy is to allow the Bible to explain itself. Q. What was in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream? A. A great image. And a stone that had been cut without hands.
    10. Q. The TEN COMMANDMENTS are located in both the Old Testament at Exodus 20:3-17, and also in the New Testament. What are the two witnesses? A. 1._____Old ____ Testament and the 2.____New_____Testament

    Matthew 5:17-20King James Version (KJV)
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

    Revelation 14:12King James Version (KJV)
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
    ...........................................................................................
The Fourth Commandment is about worshiping GOD. It is the Holy Spirit which Seals the SAVED. The OLD TESTAMENT is what Jesus taught from; the New Testament was written decades after Christ went to heaven and he and all the disciples kept the 7th Day Sabbath. ...........................................................................................
When government cause people to worship on Sunday that will be worshiping the mark of the beast. The Pope is an Antichrist. The Vatican is the beast power, and Capital Hill is fashioned after the beast.
